"Being a part of Global Citizen Scholars has been one of the best parts of my first year experience. Global Citizen Scholars is unlike any other co-curricular program on campus. Each cohort has a unique topic that is impressively led by our skilled faculty."
Personally, the multicultural aspect intrigued me the most when applying considering there are people from all over the world coming together for a common cause. I have learned so much about myself, my peers, and the faculty through this program.
Anyone who is in this cohort can attest to the various community work, class discussions, and hands-on experience that happens behind scenes to ensure and build a well-rounded, fun, and unique experience for everyone.
The bonds that I have created with faculty and students alike truly have led me to cherish and enjoy each moment that I have. The work that we engage in are practical and tangible efforts that create change and make a real difference.
